Donate Your Dolls

There are a numerous  reasons that we don't hold on to or play with  dolls like we once did.  For some, dolls are very sentimental and you want them to go to a good home when you or your children outgrow them.  For others, it may be a matter of a collector that may have passed or decided to pass the dolls on and family members don't collect dolls.  Maybe the doll is broken and you don't know how to repair it or don't want to invest time or financially in its repair.  Many owners would rather donate their doll to a place where it can be loved again than end up in the trash or a thrift store.  This is a great way to pass that treasure along!

How does the program work? We are currently  a self-funded / non-profit organization .  Donated dolls are reviewed upon receiving on their level of damage and the condition to which they can be restored and re-homed.  If the doll is in too poor condition to restore, it may become a donor doll for parts to help another doll model just like it. We may receive dolls in very poor condition all the way to very nice condition.  Of course, we will take them from the gently loved to LOVED SO VERY MUCH condition.  The ultimate goal is that we find new homes for all of them, and part of that commitment is to prepare each doll to a condition that will be appreciated to it's new owner.

Why should I donate?

​A New Creation Doll Ministry is designed for those who truly love kids!  We do it as a service because we love kids. 

For doll lovers, these doll have been childhood friends, companions, and represent our most sacred memories.  We want to see children who haven't been able to have a doll be able to receive and create those same friendships with their new doll.  This has created a great need for a place where dolls can be handled with care and re-adopted into a new home.  Dolls that come to us leave our possession in better condition than when we got them.  We are carefully cleaning and repairing them, fixing their hair, restoring their beauty and making them desirable once again.  Even if your doll is in perfect condition, you help aid our cause to raise funding to help the dolls that need it most.  Donating to us shows you understand the mission we are undertaking and support us in our task.  It is a massive undertaking and requires so much time, effort, and expense to keep running.  We appreciate those who donate to this cause.

​​We will accept:

-Any 18 inch fashion doll ( some examples are My Life, Our Generation, Journey Girl,  Disney ILY, and more)

-Doll furniture, doll houses, and accessories

-Vintage or retro toys

-Doll Clothing and accessories

-Broken or dirty items as long as they are in repairable or restorable condition- please do not send items that you yourself would deem unrepairable

We will not accept:

-Clothing that is completely faded or where the material itself is compromised

-Dolls where all the parts are bad i.e. chewed limbs, bad eyes, broken.  There must be something on the doll that is in good condition.

-Furniture for dolls under 16-18inches,  Furniture must be repairable with all the pieces.

-Dolls made of composition, wood, glass, or porcelain.  We do not work on dolls in these materials.

-Baby dolls that are dirty or stained, been exposed to mold or fire damage, and pose possible health or sanitary concerns for children.

-Dolls that are dirty beyond normal dust and storage.

-Dolls that have sun damage and vinyl discoloration

​How do I donate?

We accept doll donations nationwide so you don't need to be local to us. We accept doll donations nationwide including out of state such as Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.​  We  will process your donations and conduct the repairs no matter where you are located.  We accept individual dolls and full collections as well as estate dolls.

Donating is easy.  We ask that you fill out our donation submission form first so we know what's coming our way and we can prepare. Donations coming from outside our area will need to be shipped to us. 

We are located in Stokesdale NC and will email you our shipping address upon receipt of your form to send your donation in.  We also do routine pick-ups in the Triad area of NC,  we may make arrangements to pick up your donation if you are within driving distance of our location.
